McDonald has two community parks, one located at the east end of town, and one at the west end. The parks serve as home field to the McDonald Youth Baseball/Softball League and also as the practice field for the Fort Cherry Little Rangers Youth Football League. The Borough’s annual 4th of July fireworks are displayed from Heritage Park (west end). Both have playground equipment and there are picnic pavilions available for rent at Heritage Park. The cost is $100 for residents and non-profit organizations and $125 for non-residents and businesses. Please contact the Borough Office for scheduling.
